The northern state of Nigeria,Kaduna has partnered with DLO Energy Resources Group (a South African energy company) to build low-cost, solar-electric generating facilities.The state made this commitment public through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by its Governor Nasiru el-Rufai.

The actual facilities are a combined total of 30MW solar photovoltaic plants.
However, the construction is scheduled to commence next year and will generate enough electricity to supply homes, and businesses within the state.Kudos to Kaduna state!
